For the medical industry, Nuova Meccanica makes strategic components for medical machinery, instruments or projects, also for research projects from prestigious study centres or endorsed by tenders. 

Among the most recent applications of the company’s production in this field, we need to remember the participation to a regional tender that involved other important regional entities, both companies and institutions, like the University of Pisa and the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa.
Nuova Meccanica built the pieces for a low radiation emission CAT scan machine with robotic arms. To this day, the CAT scan machine is in use in both the veterinary and human medicine field. Another project that saw the collaboration of Nuova Meccanica with the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa was the creation of robotic limbs for which the company produces specific components.
